7,000 aspiring pianists from 52 countries learn new tune and nearly 1,000 submitted videos of their performances - now edited harmoniously together. Enjoy!
When millions of people around the world were forced into lockdown, many sought ways to connect with others and learn new skills online. One app invited aspiring pianists to learn the song 'You Raise Me Up' for free. It turned into the world's largest virtual recital, said the creators of the app, Playground Sessions, after posting a video of everyone playing together online this month.
More beautiful virtual and musical performances:
We Can Be Heroes: 6,000 strangers come together to sing David Bowie's Heroes.
Operatic Therapy: Wonderful re-invention of Nessun Dorma for today. And hope for tomorrow.
Could You Be Loved: Beautiful acapella version of Bob Marley's song.
