Australia's Annual Duck Fashion Show

Updated: May 4

Forget about New York Fashion Week, the Met Gala or the Milan runway. In Sydney, Australia, well-dressed ducks steal the scene at the annual “Pied Piper Duck Show”, an event that’s been part of Sydney’s Royal Easter Show for more than 30 years.

It’s presented by farmer Brian Harrington, and each fowl member receives three outfits. One for day, one for evening, and one for a wedding.

The costumes are covered in brilliant detail and made from the best materials by top designer dressmakers. According to Brian Harrington these feathered models are just as talented as their human counterparts, and both hens and drakes take part in their fashion finery. Strewth, whatever next?
