Luxury Travel Intelligence (LTI), a members-only travel advice site that compares hotels, restaurants, nightclubs and more around the globe, has announced that the world’s best new hotel in 2025 is the Chancery Rosewood. Opening on 1 September 2025, this ultra-luxury Mayfair bolthole is housed inside the Grade II-listed former US embassy on Grosvenor Square, and offers some very fancy accommodation and facilities indeed.

It's home to eight restaurants (including Carbone - the first European establishment of a New York favourite) and bars - with the best probably being the Eagle Bar on the rooftop. Guests can also enjoy the huge indoor pool and and the expansive Asaya Spa (a destination in its own right). You’ll will not find any standard double rooms at the Chancery Rosewood, as all of its abodes are suites, with the smallest measuring at 53-57 square-metres (570-614 sq. ft). Prices start at an eye-watering £1,280 ($1,712) per night.

LTI notes that Rosewood has enjoyed a remarkable year, unveiling several impressive new properties globally. Three have made this year's list. No luxury hospitality brand has previously achieved this accolade. "The Chancery is the most anticipated, given its location, amenities and sheer opulence. As demonstrated in recent years, when you bring a new ultra-luxury hotel to London it has to be truly exceptional even just to resonate and, in this case, it certainly does. This is the highly deserving recipient of the World's Best New Luxury Hotel 2025 title."
