After receiving ugly lawn entries from around the world, the international jury has now crowned The World’s Ugliest Lawn.

Kathleen Murray’s lawn boasts deep, dry divots created by wild bandicoots (small marsupials endemic to Australia) and not a single patch is watered. For that, the planet thanks you Kathleen. As well as those naughty, naughty bandicoots pockmarking your property for the greater good.
This year’s competition was judged by a panel of international jurors who deliberated at length over many hideous yet heroic contenders. Everyone who entered has a lot of ugliness to be proud of.
The World’s Ugliest Lawn competition was created by the region of Gotland in Sweden as the natural next step after a successful launch of Gotland’s Ugliest Lawn in 2022. The world (literally) can’t wait for next year’s contest.
