Your Personal Watersuite: A New Way to Live on Water
Fancy a change of scene? How about a luxury floating home?
Founded by naval architect Maja Regjo in 2020, the Croatian startup is now on to its second iteration of a small, luxury floating home. “The first prototype taught us an enormous amount,” say Regjo. “Amor II is the result of applying those lessons directly to the product, from the way it is constructed and engineered to how it functions as a living space.”
The floating residences, which Oasis Meu calls 'Watersuites', combine innovative marine tech with contemporary design, thereby giving owners the comfort of a traditional home and the freedom of a yacht. The first Amor has informed the second generation, with improvements in construction, engineering, design, and autonomy making it more commercially viable.
The 39-foot hull has been refined, and the conventional outboard engines have been replaced with an integrated electric propulsion system that is quieter and more environmentally friendly. It will get you from A to B at a stately pace. Meanwhile, the rooftop solar panels generate energy that is stored in a battery bank integrated into the bottom of the hull. That clean, green energy is then used to power two 15 kW electric motors to provide genuine off-grid living.

“Amor II brings us closer to what Watersuite was always intended to become: a new way to live and stay on the water that combines privacy, comfort, and a much closer connection to nature,” says Regjo.
The upgraded interior layout includes a redesigned kitchen, a stylish primary suite on the upper deck, an additional guest cabin on the lower deck, and greater storage. Spanning about 750 square feet, the living quarters showcase more refined materials and finishes than the original, resulting in a more elevated feel throughout. Large glazed sections and wide sliding doors connect the interior to the exterior terraces - one of which is outfitted with a Jacuzzi and a ladder to the water.
The first Amor II is currently in production, with delivery expected in early 2027. No word yet on prices, but OGN will keep you posted.
