Something delicious is growing in southeast Atlanta, in America's largest free food forest, spanning 7.1 acres and packed with 2,500 pesticide-free edible and medicinal plants. In 2016, the Conservation Fund bought the land and formed a partnership with the city of Atlanta, and slowly but surely the forest began to take shape. Forgiveness: A farmer in Canada who caught a lynx in his chicken coop didn't react the way one might expect after it had killed a couple of his chickens. "So I kind of gave him a little lecture and and then told him he shouldn't come back."

A federal judge has approved a $650m settlement of a privacy lawsuit against Facebook for allegedly using photo face-tagging and other biometric data without the permission of its users. US district judge James Donato approved the deal in a class-action lawsuit that was filed in Illinois in 2015. The good news is that this should stop Facebook doing such things again and that nearly 1.6 million Facebook users in Illinois who submitted claims will each receive at least $345, making it one of the largest settlements ever for a privacy violation.
