Paris Tree Planting
The French capital expects to plant a total of 170,000 trees from 2020 to 2026. So far, about 63,000 trees have been planted toward this goal. The mayor launched the initiative in 2019 to incorporate more urban forest areas throughout Paris, with an ultimate goal to make half of the city covered in vegetation and to become a carbon-neutral city by 2050. Modern Pointulism
A golf fan has created a stunning portrait of Tiger Woods made out of 25,000 new and broken golf tees. Aaron Norris finished the artwork last month and has already sold it for an undisclosed amount. The 6-foot x 6-foot wall art depicts one of the most famous faces in all of sports reading a putt.

High-Speed Trains
After 20 years and 4 billion euros, Spain's new high-speed train link between Asturias and León in the north west is finally open. It is hoped it will help reduce CO2 emissions by shortening train journey times and making it more attractive to travel by land than air and is part of Spain’s wider commitment to improve the country’s network. With a network spanning more than 4,000 km, Spain has the most extensive high-speed rail in Europe and is second only to China worldwide.
